CEREC (CEramic REConstruction) Technology     » Back to Dental Services Menu

CEREC dental restoration is an advanced computerized system that is used to replace fillings or restore teeth that are decayed, weakened or broken. The CEREC advantages include:

Laser Surgery (Virtually Painless)     » Back to Dental Services Menu

Laser Dental surgery employs a laser which offers a level of precision that simply isn't available with other conventional dental instruments. Laser procedures eliminate bleeding, making it easier and faster to work while reducing stress for both the patient and the dentist. The laser also sterilizes as it works, helping to control infection.

Laser procedures are very safe and substantially less painful than conventional procedures. Also, stress is reduced because the laser does not generate vibration, noise or cause bleeding. The need for sutures or packing is often eliminated. Patients who have had laser treatment recover faster and experience virtually no postoperative pain or swelling.

ViziLite (Oral Cancer Exam)     » Back to Dental Services Menu

The ViziLite exam can help identify abnormal tissue that might develop into oral cancer, which is one of the most curable diseases when it's caught early. In combination with a regular visual examination, Vizilite provides a comprehensive oral screening procedure. The ViziLite exam is painless and fast, and is particularly important if you are at increased risk for developing oral cancer.

Oral Sedation (Relaxed Dentistry)     » Back to Dental Services Menu

Oral sedation, will put you into a deeply relaxed and comfortable, yet conscious state for your dental appointment. It is intended for patients who have extreme dental phobia or a low pain threshold.

You simply take a pill prior to your appointment and then relax comfortably while we complete your appointment. You will need someone to bring you to your appointment and drive you home. It's probably advisable to have someone stay with you until the effects of the oral sedation have completely worn off.

Intra-Oral Cameras     » Back to Dental Services Menu

Even with mirrors, it is difficult to see anything other than the front of your teeth. However, with an intra-oral camera, patients can view potential dental conditions in their own mouth. All tartar and dental plaque become illuminated by the camera - you see your teeth the way the dentist does!

These images can be magnified up to 20 times for easier visibility and can be stored and maintained in your record.

Intra-oral cameras also allow you to understand more clearly what procedures might be necessary for you and why. Plus, the intra-oral camera allows your dentist to see what would be invisible to the naked eye, therefore enhancing the ability to complete the work necessary.

Now you can just sit comfortably back in the chair while your dentist or hygienist inserts this handy camera into your mouth. Then you have the option of watching the images to see how well you've been doing with your dental hygiene.

Digital Radiographs     » Back to Dental Services Menu

Digital imaging, known officially as a digital radiograph, produces a high-resolution image of a patient's teeth, bones, and surrounding soft tissues to screen for and help identify problems with the teeth, mouth, and jaw. The images are displayed on a computer screen in a few moments; there is no waiting for a film to be developed to produce this image. Dental radiographs can show cavities, hidden dental structures (such as wisdom teeth), and bone loss that cannot be seen during a visual examination.

Dental radiographs may also be taken as a follow-up after dental treatments. Detecting and treating dental problems at an early stage may save you time, money, unnecessary discomfort, and your teeth!
